Have found a used jet ski we are getting for free. Don't have a jet ski trailer to transport it in and was wondering it anybody had any experience moving jet skis around in truck beds or trailers.

Note this is a prop for a party and will never be used in the water. Any advice is appreciated

I don't see how it would be a problem then. Just strap the hell out of it.

it'll be fine

you could stand a couple 2x4's on their side and set it on, and it'd be the same as a trailer really

"Is it illegal to pull a boat in this state, officer?"

"No, but we require it be on a trailer... and you dropped your skier 2 miles back up the road."

I've picked up one before, and they're pretty fricking heavy, so prepare for that

I have used a couple of bags of mulch and once used an old futon mattress to set jet skis on my shop floor to do hull repairs. Since your not worried about scratching it up just throw it in the bed. Unloading should be easy enough. Tie it to something and drive

Board or ramp and cart. Just secure it, you'll have no trouble transporting. We move snow machines all the time in trucks.

Brought a stand-up home from San Marcos, TX 2 weeks ago. It was a piece of cake. Will be much easier for you since you don't have any concerns about its functionality. Make sure you have enough friends to help unload, it took 4 of us to move from the truck to the Kubota then 3 from Kubota to the lake.
