Went to high school with a gal that all the guys called turtlebox. I never figured out why.

Check out Demerbox. The case is made by Pelican and can open it up to store stuff. Think I saw a Father’s Day sale going on now also. Made in USA

I cant say enough good things about them. They're bomb proof, very simple to use, and can blast music as loud as you need. A buddy just passed on an expensive sound system for his new boat and just bought a turtlebox instead and its plenty loud even when he has the hammer down on the bay.

Exactly my plan. Bought my boat barely used from an old man that never put any stereo in it. After hearing a couple with the turtle box, I'm planning to go that route instead of hard wiring anything.

It’s loud enough and small enough for me. I have 2 ecoxgear blue tooth speakers and they are huge but was only thing they had couple years ago. You’ll enjoy the turtlebox

I didn’t want all the shite on my boat when installing a stereo system. Didn’t want to drill more holes, run wiring, replace built in speakers every 5 yrs, install amp, etc… I bought a turtle box and am incredibly happy with it. Perfect for the islands as I can take it with me to the beach

My thoughts exactly. I've been using an Ultimate Ears speaker for the last couple years and it's done its job, but need something louder.

I have a shivr cooler it has a 200 watt wet sounds bar and is an awesome blue tooth radio just bulky and heavy
