I'm old and one of the shows I watched as a youth was called "Gadabout Gaddis, The Flying Fisherman".
This old codger would fly to remote lakes in a seaplane and fish for native species with local guides. It was a popular fishing show in the 60's.
Two others were called "American Sportsman" and "The Fishing Hole".

I always enjoyed watching Orlando Wilson when I was growing up.

His blooper reels are epic.

No one beats the bloopers of Bill Dance. I remember meeting him and he took time with my son, who was about 8 at the time, and signed everything my son had. I remember my son being in awe; and it had nothing to do with Bill’s fishing; it was his bloopers on YouTube that we watched over and over. It was some real bonding that I appreciate. Who knew a fisherman would mean so much to us.....

My Dad always thought that some of those TV fisherman had an underwater guy swimming around putting the fish on their hooks.
Heck, maybe he was right.

I know he doesn’t fish much on tv, but how about Gary Rispone

I always liked Spanish Fly with Jose Wejebe.

Anybody remember Homer Circle? He had a good show.
Uncle Homer lived to be 97 and was still fishing up until the end.

Jose is one of those guys that could catch fish in a mud puddle.

there’s a reason dudly named a tout after him called Black Cloud.

I like Bill but it’s a known fact that most of his shows are filmed on stocked private lakes. Not saying he’s not a great fisherman, but it’s pretty easy to catch fish on a private lake.

Even though he angled for totally different fish in totally different places than I ever did, my favorite growing up was Flip Pallot on the Walker's Cay Chronicles. The man had a way with words, describing everything in a way that brought you there with him. That intro still brings me back to Saturday mornings as a kid. Close second was Orlando Wilson.

Does anyone remember a fishing show that was on, I think ESPN called Fish On?
It had two hot chicks on it.
I've tried to find it online but have had no luck.
