Fake indeed. I hunted in the stomping grounds of one of the shows characters. TV leaves a lot of "details" about the characters out of the show.

I can't believe that dumb shite still comes on. It still blows me away that that curse of oak island show still comes on too. This is the clue that will certainly lead us to the mother load!!!!

Hopefully, they are going to figure shite out soon, and dig up a pretty girl on Oak Island, then they will have me back. Honestly though, I just watch that show so I can see 'em digging in the dirt. I love that stuff. I don't watch much TV, but I will watch that show, and gold rush.

Serious question: how's Swamp People fake? I've been away from the bayou so long that I love watching it just to see some folks from my home state. I've read on here that they get the gator worked up unnecessarily, and I'm sure some of the "plots" are tweaked, but am I missing something else? My son and I love it. And River Monsters.

How is it not?
They spend a fair amount of time on the waterways behind the house.
We did a lot of dumb shite to alligators as kids. They almost never got pissed off or caused a ruckus. A .22 will definitely kill most of them with a close enough shot. It doesn't have to be perfect.
