What kind of marine life is this?

So, what kind of ocean plant retracts into the sand when you touch it? It is crazy how fast it reacted. This was in Exuma. This was not edited in any way.

Feather duster worm , commonly found living near coral ... especially in salt water reef aquariums

is this Highcotton2's annual "look at this weird thing I found while I was vacationing in an exotic paradise because I was there enjoying this beautiful outdoor wonderland while on vacation in this amazing place filled with amazing and curious things"?

I couldn’t think of what they were for nothing. I was thinking some type of polyp for some reason. Thanks for the knowledge been a while since zoology
