Bayou classic double jet for crawfish pot. All day.

ETA: not sure they make a burner for both crawfish pots and jambalaya pots. It's two different burner applications.

No no no no no damn loud arse jet burners. They're terrible. All noise and no heat.

Just get the biggest banjo burner you can find.

10-4. He's always cooking big pots of jambalaya/pastalaya, boiling crawfish and frying fish. I'd like to get him something he can use for all of those.

Kinda, I like a jet for boiling; but I damn near burnt six condos down frying with a jet. For frying you need the lower pressure banjo. I recomend having a fire extinguisher on hand too.

I haven't found a banjo type that is sufficient for crawfish.

I have a 32 jet natural gas burner. Works fine to boil seafood.

Usually it's because the gap between the burner and the bottom of the pot is wrong. People usually put the pot wayyyyy too close to the heat
