There are these idiot scammers all over the classifieds with nice trucks or ATV's for ridiculously low prices.

How do their scams work? Check out this one here. Has 4 different things listed for dirt cheap, what's the angle? I've never bothered contacting one, but I might have to troll them.

They sell your phone # or email to an ad agency. I'm not even sure they have a way to take money if someone wanted to give it to them

That website is a joke. On the rare occasion that an inshore report is not an ad for a guide you get this.

Went back to the spot I caught them yesterday with Taco and Gary.Finished up around 930am.all caught on live shrimp

They tell you they are a missionary in Africa or some shite and then ask you to wire money to an account and you can go pick up the truck/boat/atv at their house in town.

I came across one recently. They say they are selling through Amazon Payments and that the boat/car/atv etc has been handed over to Amazon and is in their warehouse. They send you a link to their Amazon page for you to make the transfer. But it's fake site.

Had a "lady" respond to my message and said the ATV I was looking at belonged to her husband that passed and she's just trying to liquidate the estate. Told me about the Amazon deal, but it was all too fishy. Did a Google search and came up w a ton of info.

They need to delete obvious scam posts.

They're pretty fricking easy to spot. "2013 Nautic Star 24' bay boat, 300 hp Yamaha 4-stroke and aluminum trailer, asking $1999."

Come the frick on! These people are morons, looking to rip off other morons.

i trolled one for about a week. a 24' ranger bay boat for $2000. it was the same story about how her husband died and she wanted to get rid of it. she told me the boat was in Branson, Mo. and it had to be shipped after i paid the $2000. I told her that I was going to Branson at the end of the month and I would pay her and extra $1000 if I could pick the boat up. She came up with some story about how it was at a private marina that nobody could access. I finally got tired of emails, so i went off the hinges on an email. and that was the last i heard.
