Bill had already sold MW once (to Realtree).

That explains why I started seeing them all over the MW videos and also on RT's YT channel.

He bought it back and was recently bought out by a group of guys who are regularly on the show. Lee Abraham from Rayville is now the majority owner. Bill was burnt out.

Wow. I guess I can see it. He just always seemed so mild mannered and low key, like not much bothered him. So Lee is now the big boss huh? Damn. That explains why he got to take that giant GQ buck a couple of weeks ago...lol.

Wonder if Mike Reed and Jared Mills are part owners? Feels like they've been there longer than anyone and are two of my favorite to watch.

Lee actually owns the farm where he killed GQ. Yes, both Mike and Jared are part owners as well. Great bunch of guys for sure.

Bill is such a talented guy but I honestly believe the number of hours he was putting into the show were taking a toil on him.

Geaux I thought I had you sussed out a couple weeks ago but I was wrong.

This is the second time you’ve dropped info here that has been dead on. Well done sir!

I don't know much but if it happens on the TV/Video side of the hunting business I normally hear of it.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas.

Ok, geaux, was there any drama with Primos leaving the Cottonwood lease? Or purely river related? They’ve been buddies with that family a long time.

That I'm not sure of. I haven't spoken to Wilbur since before hunting season. But knowing Wilbur and Walker, it would be hard for me to believe there were any hard feelings. The river has certainly made things tough as you probably know. I'm hearing some island shares have been diminished by as much as $250,000.

Keep in mind that while Wilbur may still be running the day to day operations, he still has to answer to folks above him in upper management.

I feel like he sold his place in the Delta because of the water, so I could see him pulling out of Cottonwood if it was preventing them from hitting the needed filming numbers.
