Tried it. Didn't like it. I didn't like have to clean all my stuff after the hike.

I have a bag for my stuff and keep another pack out bag in the truck.

I hike out, drop my stuff at the truck, then go to the deer.

Gotta walk twice, but much prefer that over blood over everything.

Do you strap your bow to the bag? I'm looking at getting a backpack to throw my bow in for long hikes.

I do.

I carry my sticks. Strap bow and platform to my bag.

I like that when I get to my tree, I don't have to drop my bag and fiddle around with stuff.

I just start climbing.

That’s what I was thinking. Plus I plan on having a few trees with ladders on them where all I have to do is bring my platform and bow.

I do when I'm bring my set of sticks in. I have a carrying strap for my sticks and just throw the strap over my shoulder and carry them like a duffelbag. Bow strapped to the pack.

But when I'm one sticking I just strap my one stick and platform to the pack and carry the bow. Idk maybe that's weird but it works good.

I have a new one-stick for 2024. Last year I ran a DIY hawk one-stick just to see if I liked one-sticking. I really liked it but the hawk stick had squeaking issues on certain trees. This year I will be running a Out on A Limb experimental one-stick. It is a one off as far as I know. It seems like it will be winner after playing with it in the back yard.

Nice mrcoon! Looks real similar to the Big Bob. Matt is a great guy they are a small company. That should work. If you remember, report back on how you like it after you use it a while.

Salmon or any others, have yall used the bow backpacks that have a fold out with a pocket for a bow? Debating that vs just one with buckle straps on outside.

My bag has the fold out pocket for the bottom cam but I don’t use it. It’s not necessary.

Got the millennium tree seat. Actually 2 of them. Easier to hunt from the ground for me.

Probably gonna pick up a couple new dogs from Arkansas to replace a couple of older ones. Other that that, everything will remain the same.

I just bought 2 Tactacam 3.0. Wow! Huge upgrade from the Spypoints!

Just got my bow pretty dialed in. Switching to a new Spot Hogg that is way more sensitive. Liking it!

I broke out my Sherpa cart for my Treewalker climber too. Need to take advantage of having my stand convert to a cart more often.

Going to go with a single bevel, heavy broadhead setup. Basically the Ashby Foundation/Ranch Fairy philosophy.
