Yanmar Tractors

Anybody have any experience with Yanmar Tractors. I know their engines are used in other tractors such as John Deeres, but wanted to see if anybody has experience with their tractors.
I am in the market for a ~25 horsepower tractor and doing some shopping. I was sucked into Sunshine's showroom after their FB advertising stated $5k off their 3025e, but none of those were in stock.
I admit I'm not educated on how much a tractor and loader should cost, but is everybody paying $30k for these?
I have 3 acres and the tractor would be used for dirt work, keeping up with gravel driveway, and maintaining a round pen. Any thought and suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm still rolling with my dad's 90s model John Deere 870 which was made by Yanmar. It seems to be working just fine knowing the abuse that has been heaped upon it over the decades.
That seems to be way too much tractor for that small of a piece of property. Do you even have room to park it?
That 870 has 28 horsepower I think and I use it for 500 acres. The most stress it gets is from being put up most of the year and me forgetting to run it periodically.
I might suggest you just rent a tractor when you need it.

I am a hoarder, but I feel like I have plenty of room to park a tractor on 3 acres.

Can’t tell you specifics but I know my dad was just in the market for a tractor, downsizing from his Kubota to probably the size you are talking about. He looked at Yanmar and felt like they offered some extra features for a good price but didn’t feel like it would be as sturdy as some other brands. He ended up getting a Massey Ferguson and loves it. I want to say it was around $30k.

As far as yanmar goes, I'd look at tractor talk and see what they say. I don't know anyone who owns one. Also, regarding your yanmar dealer, how long have they been there? Do they sell other tractors? How long have they been selling yanmar? The dealer should make or break a purchase on equipment. Start with dealer location, reputation, etc., and branch out from there on brands, wants, needs, etc.
If it were me and I were looking at a tractor that size, I'd start at looking at your closest Kubota dealership and go from there.

I am also sort of in the market for a compact loader. Have looked at Yanmars. Prices seem a bit high in my area. Have you done any research into Solis? There is a dealer about an hour from me with 2024 model 25 HP gear models with a bucket for $12,999. From everything I have found they are highly reliable around the world, fairly new entry into the US market.
I am probably going to buy a used John Deere or Kubota. I only need one for about 2 years and someone from here suggested resell value would probably be better on a used name brand (as far as I am concerned Yanmar is a name brand) than the Solis and after looking at used ones that poster was correct LOL.

I paid 16K for a bobcat 25hp with loader last year. It’s great

Recommended for what? I'm not farming 500 acres. I'm growing trees and doing a little hunting.
I bush hog the roads (probably a few miles total), mow/disc/till/plant four food plots, use a blade when I need to for the roads or pushing stuff out of the way and whatever else I need to do. The tractor needs to be small enough get through wooded areas. I'm not dropping tens of thousands on a tractor that I won't get 100 hours of use out of in a year.
I do need to buy a new tiller as the old one finally kicked the bucket last year and I wasn't as happy just discing my food plots.

Look into LS Tractors, but Yanmars are very good.

Look into LS Tractors
OP i have 6 acres and i use it every weekend, either moving shite around or picking shite up. i have no idea how i ever managed without it.

I'm running a 40hp JD990 that was built by Yanmar, it's got 1800 hours on it and runs good. My suggestion would be find you and older JD990, MF 1540, Ford TC45, or Kubota about the same. I think you really want one made 2007 or earlier as they have no smog equipment and will run forever with maintenance

LS is a solid brand of tractor. Probably can get a cab LS version at near the price of a non-cab Kubota, Deere, Yanmar.
LS 35HP with cab
Big B sales in Sicily Island La has very good deals, packages, and has customers from all over the Miss-Lou area.

For a 25hp, I’d check out Mahindra. Red Dirt Tractors in Alexandria has a 25hp with 4WD and front end loader for $17000.

I have 2 John Deere 790 tractors ‘03 w/o fel, ‘05,w fel they were made by Yanmar.Have been solid tractors.I have been hard on the one with the fel,I’ve had no trouble with either.
I bought a Kubota 25 hp(gear) last year with box blade, fel and grapple for $30,000 including tax.
I don’t think you can go wrong with a Yanmar.
There is a website-tractorbynet,you can read reviews of every brand tractor on the market.

Thats a great price, at least in Georgia/South Carolina. If it is hydrostatic (don't know if Mahindra has geared tractors) it is a really good price.

Friend has that set up. He came do some work with me in the woods last weekend. I was impressed by it. Claimed it can lift more with the bucket than larger green and orange models. Also has the capability to hook up to skid steer equipment like a grapple etc.

I have a Mahindra 1626 in shuttle shift for the past year. It is impressive what it can do for it's size. No trouble from it. Starts up and runs smooth. No emission controls to worry about on this size motor. Sorry I don't have info on the Yanmar.
