oh is it illegal during hunting season?

i realize there are limits for like dove and duck seasons. but if you were to "break the law", you'd probably be better off just loading the tube with the extra round if it could fit. this "ghost load" seems like it's a jam waiting to happen.

Don’t think this can be done on SBE Benelli’s made after 1999-2000.

My extrema II doesn’t jam.

Ghost loading the shotgun allows you to fit a forth round in the gun while the plug is in tube to restrict the tube to 2 shells.

If you can't take care of something in 7 rounds, I'm not sure that adding an 8th, weighed against the possibility of jamming would be of any real benefit.

Always heard it called “floating a shell”. I’ve never been able to get my SBE2 or my SBE3 to do it. I know berettas will though

I used to shoot 3 gun comps. Going from 12 to 13 was handy at times. Very extended tubes and still ghost loaded. That was with a M2.

As noted I don't think sbe2 or 3's do it, but I have had people swear they can. I think the m2 might. The SBE1 im 99 percent positive could. Most berettas can. never really messed with it but I know A391 will.

Older Benelli's will all do it. Newer ones had a groove cut to prevent it that can be easily altered to work if someone so chooses. While there are ways to make a Benelli "jam", that isn't one of them.
