I have a major itch to ask Santa for one. The Ruger made Marlin 1894 is calling out to me. I have a couple Henrys, a Winchester, & a Rossi all in other calibers that are great, some more than others. My Henry's are my favorite.

I have no experience with any lever guns but I’ve been wanting a Marlin 1894 since the new ones came out around 2021 from Ruger. They look so pretty. I’d get it in 45/70 or 44 mag though

My vote is for Henry. I have one, plus in 17 and 22 and such a fun gun to shoot. I wanted the side ejection port with no safety on top or whatnot and the Big Boy fit the bill.

Love my Henry Big Boy X, suppressed 38 special with it is some kind of fun. The Marlin SBL also has a threaded barrel though, and I will be purchasing one as soon as we get one in stock locally.

I like the .357’s that are chambered in 45-70 :)

Never had a .357 lever but own several Marlins and highly regard them.

I had the itch last year and ended up buying the Henry. Still haven't killed a deer yet with it, but it's a sweet shooter. May take it this evening.

I can't stop looking at this thing. It's beautiful. My local store has the trapper and SBL, both stunning. I want one bad. Pretty pricy at the local shop though.

One of my friends has a 357 Mag lever action by Rossi. He really likes it. The action is very smooth. His daughter used it this season to kill a 100# hog.
