You got 10 out of 10 questions correct.

Congratulations, you passed the U.S. citizenship test!
You've proven yourself to be a great student of American history and civics.

Did you know that only 30% of U.S. adults and just 3% of public high school students in America can pass the U.S. citizenship exam.

7/10 is passing, so you're good.

And you did better than most adults. And vastly better than most HS students.

So, feel good about that.

What the hell was or should have been so hard about that?

Is geography really on the citizenship test? Do new citizens need to know which states border Canada so they can go find cheap prescription drugs, or avoid the draft?

Yes. People need to know their country. Its history and the lands.

10/10. Easy peasy elementary stuff. I'm 30 years old now but frankly speaking I would have aced that thing when I was 10 years old too (hell probably more like 8 years old if I'm being honest).

Yes, I am thankful and grateful that I had the privilege of having one of the best K-12 public school educations this country can offer by growing up in Williamson County right outside of Nashville amongst a community that actually loves and appreciates the idea of being American. But sheesh, that is embarrassing how few young Americans and Americans in general there are that cannot pass that thing. We are so screwed

Question 9 is wrong on the test. It acts like the legislative branch creates US law. We all know it’s the judicial.

Tricky questions may have been the number of Amendments? Maybe the geography ones? And I guess some may have been tripped up on who was President during this or that time period.

The only "tricky" one I saw was the year the Constitution was written. Most would probably select 1776 confusing the year the Declaration of Independence submitted the divorce paper to Great Britain instead of the year 1787 when the actual US Constitution was enacted.

There are 100 total questions and 10 are chosen at random. Also, the test is not multiple choice, so the actual test is harder than what this shows.
