60 minutes producer resigns over Trump lawsuit

Trump is suing them for election interference over the heavily edited Kamala interview, to the tune of $10B. So they know they did it, and have forced this guy out. And Trump is pushing to pull their license for it also
Some of the highlights:
* executive producer resigns, citing a loss of independence in the wake of Trump lawsuit
* announced he will resign from the top job saying he no longer has control over the show.
* Owens has been with CBS News for 37 years, 24 of which were at “60 Minutes.”
* made it clear that he “would not be allowed to run the show as I have always run it” or make “independent decisions based on what was right for 60 Minutes.” (basically admitting he ordered the editing)
* Shari Redstone told Paramount’s board of directors that she wanted to resolve the “60 Minutes” lawsuit.

So, you don't think trying to hold the corrupt corporate media accountable for their actions is important? The corporate media is the only entity that's keeping the Democrat Party from totally imploding right now.
Not to mention how different things would be if the media were covering President Trump fairly.

Trump and his Trumpkins are bitching about an interview that probably helped Trump in the run up to the election in it's edited format.
It's all about retribution. No slight gets unanswered. Plus, it's a loser of a case for Trump. It's Trump and his Trumpkins, they just want to try to shake them down. He's hoping they come to him with a settlement offer so he can run around and brag about it. CBS should tell Trump to go ahead.....sue, press your case.....show where you were injured and that Harris by virtue received an in kind contribution....

There is no Trump Exception to the First Amendment.
Trump had ample opportunity to go on 60 Minutes and state his case. He was offered, he rejected the offer. Because the press outlet afforded to both candidates the same opportunity, they are very much in the clear. News outlets are entitled to edit as they see fit. 60 Minutes edited Harris ( probably to avoid her word salad) and they can do it.
