Pope Francis' sudden death has thrown the spotlight back on a 900-year-old prophetic manuscript. The 12th-century ‘Prophecy of the Popes’ — reportedly uncovered in the Vatican’s secret archives — claims to predict the identity of Francis’ successor and even foretells the return of Christ. The document contains a series of cryptic Latin phrases, each believed to describe a pope, starting with Celestine II in 1143 and ending with ‘Peter the Roman’ in 2027. Fanning the flames is the eerie fact that there are currently nine frontrunners to succeed Pope Francis — and three of them are named Peter.

their current name has nothing to do with their Pope name.

Bible believing folks already know how this all ends, nobody knows when. Other prophecies don't matter.

Not a stretch to think that Pietro Parolin, of Rome, the current favorite and Secretary of State at the Vatican, would fit the profile.

Once again, class, from the mouth of the Savior himself:
quote:
But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.

I thought Pope Francis was supposed to be Peter the Roman.

Who was predicting the day and the hour?

I think that is right. I think people are trying to twist this Malachi prophecy at this point.

Catholics are so weird. Just pray to Jesus and avoid all this vatican crap.
