Amazon launches Black Business Accelerator to empower Black entrepreneurs
Amazon, in partnership with our Black Employee Network and a coalition of non-profit partners, has launched the Black Business Accelerator (BBA) grant program. This program will help to build sustainable equity and growth for Black-owned businesses by explicitly targeting barriers to access, opportunity, and advancement created by systemic racism across America. Backed by a $150 million commitment, this initiative aims to drive economic equity for Black entrepreneurs by providing them with resources to thrive as entrepreneurs and business leaders. Amazon’s BBA program will provide access to financial support, strategic business guidance and mentorship, and marketing and promotional support to help both current and aspiring Black small business owners grow their businesses and maximize the opportunities of selling in Amazon.

So, let's create a program that only helps one race.

Used to be companies invested in whomever had the best ideas regardless of race. The only color that mattered was green.

Now that companies are woke they are racist.

Carpetbaggers.

So how does one prove they are black?

Or don't they check?

Really how hard is it to open an Amazon store? Amazon thinks black entrepreneurs need special coaching and mentorship? This is so insulting.

Imagine being a black Amazon store owner doing well for years, then reading this.

What systemic racism prevents success for Amazon sellers? It's totally anonymous! The customer has no idea your race gender creed etc.

This is just insulting to black people.

To the max, yo.

Amazon is essentially shouting from the rooftop "We think blacks are inferior and need a crutch to even the playing field!"

So black people need the white man to hold their hand and lead them higher up the ladder? That's what I'm getting from these "woke" people.

Black Democrats really are on the plantation and don't realize it, it's sad.

Used to be called 'fronts.' When aff action first started a white businessman would pay a black guy 5% to do absolutely nothing except be the official owner of the new business that got fed funding to start.

I'm all ears... And if someone says but local one more time...... Wtf does that even mean? Don't know if you have failed to look around lately but there is no such thing as a "local" store anymore... Save for some services... Like mechanic. Plumber. Electrician.. no such thing as "local" resale. Mainly because of Amazon and WalMart.

This is really dumb. But I think for different reasons.

The shop local from tards just don't know business.

The guy that owns subway is a local, that employs locals, calls the local plumber, has trash pick up from locals, calls the local electrician, the local hvac guys and pays local taxes.

And more recently, the ubereats and waitr drivers that pick up the food are local.
