Anybody else notice the irony of the fireplace at the White House meeting?

Considering Biden's crackdown on gas appliances and heaters, I just thought it was ironic that the gas fireplace behind them was burning wide open. What kind of symbolism or message, if any, was being sent by having such a huge fire? Just struck me as being odd.

Old people are always freezing.

And the political class always exempt themselves from the rules they make us live under.

Having a blanket on my chair really sucks. But it's for my dog!

Hey, it's not age. It's geography. I'm from New Iberia. I can't take these frigid temps in Shreveport/Bossier.

It's 51 degrees in DC. Still, the symbol is there. It's the Democrats signaling to burn it all down when Trump's in charge.

Optically it's far more warm and friendly with a roaring fire.

Plus, it's cloudy and in the 40's. And it's November.

Smart move by whoever.

And Obama sucks.

If I were Trump I'd have it repurposed into a functioning fireplace again. Nothing like the warmth, smell and crackle of seasoned oak filling the room. As an added bonus, it would trigger the shite out of the tree huggers.

Maybe. Or someone just likes the aura of a fireplace. It was Nixon or maybe Carter that used to have a fireplace going and the AC cranked the frick up.

Same with ski resorts. Primarily owned by left wingers but they all have gas rock fires for ambiance.
