- All non-essential stores and some other businesses will close
- Bars and restaurants remain closed
- Working from home is mandatory, where possible
- People are still allowed to leave their home, but no visitors at home

The last two times European governments went insane and suppressed their populations America had to step in.
We can’t afford a foreign war and we have enough problems here at home to deal with.

And when this plan inevitably fails to stop the spread, the excuse will be "it didn't work because x country didn't lock down". I guarantee it.
