At some point in the future maybe whatever brain worm or fungus these people have will be discovered. I literally believe there is something wrong with them. It's visible. The crazy eyes.

I sincerely meant what I said above, there has to be some explanation. You decribed it perfectly, a national mental crisis. I don't if its mental or spiritual, but it's not normal.
