“Death Camp of Tolerance” is not only one of the best episodes that show ever produced, but it’s eerily prolific 20 years later. Plot synopsis:

quote:

In the episode, Mr. Garrison tries to get fired from his new job as the fourth grade teacher at South Park Elementary by being overtly and explicitly homosexual in front of the students, so he can sue the school and get twenty-five million dollars in damages and shoves the school's gerbil Lemmiwinks into Mr. Slave's rectum. However, he is unable to as the rest of the faculty and the children's parents are desperate to appear tolerant of his homosexuality. The boys do not share their sentiments, and as punishment for not tolerating Garrison's outrageous behavior, they are sent to a Nazi-esque "tolerance camp." All of the scenes inside the camp are shown in black-and-white, a homage to Schindler's List.

The shite Mr. Garrison does in front of the kids to get fired in this episode is not only accepted now, but even the parents reactions to his overt sexuality are 100% accurate to 2023.

And how can we forget Lemmiwinks?

I think people give those guys too much credit. They just think up the most outrageous scenarios they can dream up. They had no idea that our society is so fricked up that those scenarios usually come true.

Classic episode.

LEMMIWINKS NOOOOOOOOO

They are always a few years ahead. The Cartman goes trans episode was at least 2-3 years ahead of the madness

Totally just a silly coincidence. Not predictive programming at all.

Uhhhhhh…lol

Many people have been saying for years this was coming. It doesn’t take a genius to see this.
