What aren’t the IC goons doing? I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume most of the bad shite going on in the world is done by the CIA, Mossad or whatever the others call themselves.
Multi billion dollar black budgets, zero oversight, and allegations of threats towards elected representatives doesn’t scream above board, business as usual intelligence gathering to me.

It has a hand in everything. EVERYTHING on a domestic and global scale. If you had a bar graph of its power, it started ticking up big time after WWII. In ‘76 it dipped (Senate Select Committee on Assassinations) for a while then started trending up again when Reagan got elected.
Had a shake up again during Iran-Contra but then daddy Bush (career CIA) ensconced it in the position of power you see today on a big upward trajectory. After 9/11? His son W ensured that the line is vertical and shows no signs of dipping.
