As at 30 year Denver resident, Mike Johnson has done OK as mayor. I'd grade him a C-.

Kids get fired up for stuff.

Kids shouldn't be making tent cities on college campuses when it's against policy.

Not to mention they are openly supporting terrorists

I already gave him a C-. It's not a good score

You said average at best - that won't average to a C unless you're giving bonus points for breathing.

I stand corrected. Don't recall that thread but I believe you
Denver Health is definitely the place where the uninsured go for treatment. Doesn't mean they're all illegal immigrants, though I'm sure plenty are. Last time I was there my friend's wife had slashed her foot open stepping on a sawed off street sign post. She was in one of a dozen ER beds and the only one not handcuffed to the gurney
I want to say they're also the only large hospital in Denver that operates in the black but could be wrong about that. They did in say 2013-2016 - was dating a medical device rep then that more or less lived at that place

Here in Colorado Springs, we vote for our mayor. Denver is a shithole. Just like Pueblo. No one here wants to be in Denver. Get serious.

I’m confused what the demands of these grown children are exactly. How do they expect the mayor of Denver to do anything about what’s going on in Israel?

This has always been the funniest part. And it’s the difference between the left and the right.

When the right protests, it’s aimed at the complaint. The left does stupid shite like this.

“Our demands have not been met.”

Denver is a shithole that no one wants to be around, in this state. You defending how it has been managed, and as it stands, is part of the problem.

How am I defending Denver?
It's a clusterfrick for sure - has the same issues as most big cities. I still dig it, provides access to all the outdoor activities I love
It's also one of the most popular cities in the country, so your made up statement about nobody wanting to live here is just that, made up bullshite

How long have you lived there? Denver is about 10 years removed from its prime and is a total shithole that lost even its mountain access appeal because there’s too many people.

Literally the first reply in this thread. 30 yrs
I do agree the traffic and crowds have become ridiculous

Totes jeal
I think my next move is Montrose. West of Vail Pass so you lose the front range crowd, good house prices, easy flights out of Grand Junction

The Left always eats their own

Not sure I agree.

However, the right eats their own. Actually, the right rejects it's own.

Conservative voters vote Republican, but those Republicans do nothing. Democrats do exactly what they say they are going to do while campaigning.

When the Green New Deal was emerging in 2018, everyone said it was such a radical proposal, and would never happen. Yet, here we are.

Statues being taken down, Ukraine flags being flown in Federal buildings, protests supporting radical religion(s) with not much resistance, student loans being cancelled, massive out of control spending, all of it. They are doing exactly what they said they would.

Johnson said he would solely focus on shutting down the border once speaker, and that has all but gone away. You don't even hear about the border anymore. Gone.

We have a former president on trial for allegedly paying hush money for some pu**y he wanted to keep quiet long before he was even considering running for president. Yet nobody on the right is doing anything about it. DJT has been left out to dry by his own party. It's fricking bullshite. US Dollar buying power is worth .75C compared to 2020, yet everyone continues to pile up CC debt, etc., etc.,

Radical voters, their elected officials, and everything that comes from it is going to continue until something even more radical on the right happens.
