I just realized DeSantis term doesn't end till 2027. So he's leaving a governor position we voted for him after a year of election to run for President.

If that's not a typical politician move, than I don't know what is.

You vote for a governor, and you get a campaigner instead who sells biography books on a side.

It happens almost every election cycle—on both sides of the political aisle.
Right or wrong … navigating the term ending of one office/term with the beginning of another office is logistically tough.

I’m not suggesting you shouldn’t be annoyed by that reality, but it’s the norm.

Why would a person that doesn’t live in Florida be annoyed?

He isn't resigning. He's going to be the governor of Florida until 1/5/27.

No clue.
That’s a question for the OP.
Folks become irked for various reasons, I guess.

He got more done in one legislative session in Florida than Trump did his entire Presidency.

I think that's ethically wrong. You're using your job title only as a springboard for your next job gig, instead of actually doing the job you're hired to do.

We have real natural disasters in Florida, and things have been mismanaged in the past, it's not a part time job.

I voted for DeSantis thinking we have a governor for at least 4 years and I feel short changed.

You're talking out your gapehole. I am in Florida, voted for Meatball twice, unlike you and the squad.

Twitter world noticed he removed Fla. from his @RonDeSantis.

Jeanette will run things unnoticed. It is only noticed when the GOPe wants to get Trump out.

People regularly leave current jobs due to promotions.
I’m not certain I follow your “natural disasters” comment.

Florida voters will ultimately decide how his future looks in their state.
Personally—were I a citizen of FL—I’d be grateful for all he’s accomplished
Onward and upward, in other words.

An empty suit would have won against Crist this election cycle. Like anybody.

Two day rage post bender usually leads to nonsense.

This is great. I now didn’t vote for Desantis just like the squad didn’t vote for Desantis.

Can it get funnier?

I don’t think we would post anything you’d like as it would only be lipstick lesbians.

Sorry. You are going to have to get your own supply of Dylan Mulvaney pics.
