I can't quit laughing

Didn't even know the draft was on

It's a GQ SS, but I'm glad I witnessed Clay

The woke-joke NFL will probably fine him, but that was good.
Does Clay Matthews still play?

Decatur already started a thread about it on DU saying Trump said everyone in Chicago sucks.
They are quite gullible.

Wiki said he retired in 2022. I didn't realize he finished with the rams

I'd say probably 75%. At least one in four of us seem to have stood our ground.
College football now, that's another story. After LSU jumped on the whole woke/BLM bandwagon during the "summer of love", I swear half the LSU fans that frequent this board swore the university off forever. I'm pretty damn sure I'm the only one who stuck to my guns.
I have some "patriot-of-the-highest-order" cousins who are diehard Oklahoma fans and they swore off OU when the university did the whole "Crimson and Queen" drag thing, but they were right back in their seats for the fall opener. It was really easy for me to just up and walk away from college football after being a hardcore fan and paying my TAF dues for 30 years, but I guess I'm an anomaly.

Everything that once made college sports so great has been sacrificed at the altar of “progress.”
There’s no such thing as women’s sports anymore either.
I’m impatiently waiting for “descend with a shout” myself.

It really is sad. Some of my finest memories of my life revolve around football and they've basically ruined it for me. It's not that I hate it now. I just don't give a frick about D1 or Pro.

This, from a guy who used to sit in his car in Florida during the fricking Chad Loup / Jesse Daigle era to listen to scratch AM radio being boomed by LSU back then.

You sound grumpy.

Well Im grumpy too lol. I too used to sit in the car with my older brother to pick up Auburn football games. Radio announcers then could announce. Describing what you cant see, a true gift.
I read a stat, the Pittsburgh Steelers 1980, 44 years ago, the last time a team won with its own players, no free agents. Soon college ball will be the same as pros. The only ones winning are the players, agents, and the jersey makers who make bank printing up souvenirs for the new team of the transfer players.

I did this EXACT same thing in my driveway in Jacksonville starting in 1990.

I don't get it. Who is Clay Matthews and why would the Don care about the Bears?
