I just heard this today for the first time. Was I bamboozled?

He probably drove it to work.

It was a maroon Cadi with gold trim and hubcaps and she loved riding in the backseat.

And curb feelers

He wouldn’t let her sit in it either, fact!

It would have changed the course of history if he had a bus.

Yes and the entire bus incident was planned. Another woman was the first a few weeks prior but they chose not to use her because she was a pregnant single mom… weirdly enough I recently discovered that this little piece of information is a major point of contention with some within the black community as many see the first woman as the real hero and Rosa and those who orchestrated as opportunists.

RP wasn't intended to be the protester. Another female had been selected
But she was an unmarried mother, & the organizers decided that would be bad optics
FWIW there was a bus boycott in BR pre-RP; don't know why it never gets mentioned

You didn't know that the whole thing was a setup
the law barring blacks from sitting in the front of the bus did exist It was fricked up
but the incident that Rosa Parks was involved in that whole thing was a setup

Most don’t know but for some reason it’s been popular on social media channels recently. Quite interesting most history is bullshite agenda.

Rosa Parks was a registered Republican. Nothing but respect for that hard working woman who was subjected to Democrat lawfare and intimidation.

Yeah okay you're right I get that most don't know
It's just odd to me that when people want to come in and pontificate about things they don't educate themselves first
But to be fair to the OP he was just sharing something that he didn't know asking a question of others did it so I apologize for my elitist attitude
I'm an a-hole

The whole thing was planned to the point where the original girl they wanted to use got pulled for being pregnant and unmarried
ETA: Grateful to be late with the answer for once. Seems like no one else knew this 10 years ago

I’ve never read any of this. Interesting.

Didn't know that.
I heard it was the rich white women who were instrumental in getting the boycott ended and got their influential husbands to do so. Reason why is they got tired of having to go to the poor side of town to pick up the black women and driving them to their houses to clean.

the whole thing was a set up, it happened for real several weeks before and the black leaders at the time were not happy with it getting no play, so they looked for a lighter skinned black women they thought would be more acceptable to the whites, found Rosa, notified the press as to where and when to show up with their camera people, the rest is history.
