Over a tweet
I don't want to post it but it is an image of a blurred-out naked Hunter smoking crack. The link is below if you want to see it
NSFW
He just said on Tucker he is suing the DNC

Hunter is "the smartest guy I know". Joe Biden assessment. I like Woods but will pass on the pic.

What’s his basis for suing the DNC “defamation“?
I hope this burns it all down.

James Woods just said on a phone interview that he is suing the Democrat Party for the damage it caused on his career.

He also said that any actor, or actress that followed, or follows his Twitter account had their careers cut off as well, then indicated that it could turn into a class action suit.

Help me here:
Wouldn't their case be: "even if we colluded with big tech to censor people and limit their speech, 1A only protects citizens from the government taking official legal action upon them as individuals for their exercise of free speech?"
Technically, they didn't pull the lever on limiting someone's speech. Someone at Twitter did. They did not level any type of legal action or use any of their own governmental powers to silence someone. Twitter did.
I wanna believe this can stick, so help educate me.

No. Free speech goes far beyond not being locked up.

DNC colluded with private business to violate US citizens 1A rights. What am I missing?

I don’t know the answer to your question but I’ve heard others say it was the government’s influence that persuaded the Twitter folks to behave the way they did.
It’s interesting to remember that some Twitter users posted negative tweets to him and they sued him for blocking them, thereby violating their 1st amendment rights. The users won in lower courts and the suit was thrown out by the Supreme Court as a moot point when Biden got elected. If I couldn’t tweet a link to the Hunter laptop article to an elected official’s Twitter account, isn’t that similar?

If I post a naked photo on this board and one of y’all reports me and I get banned, can I sue you?

I’m the JTL, not the DNC...so, no.

Your deflection illustrates how weak your take is.

A political committee, not the government, reported a naked photo posted on twitter which got the person who posted it banned. What am I missing there? Any lawsuit he files over that is going to get dismissed immediately.

I can’t imagine actually defending the manner in which Dems silenced people.
Imho, Dems = CCP

I’ve seen you be an idiot in multiple threads… you should probably take a break.
So it’s your understanding that THE ONLY thing the dnc did was just report that pic? Say it ain’t so joe

No that was just an example. The point was it was the DNC, a private group, requesting posts be taken down.
