That isn't specifically what Trump is on trial for, though. Bad comparison.
This trial is based in the wacky NY business records law and how those payments were made. Hillary didn't conceal the payments via obfuscation, like Trump is alleged to have done. She just mis-labeled a direct payment (which violated campaign finance rules). Also, her payments weren't from a business, like Trump's were.
He could have obfuscated these payments to Stormy with his personal money and it wouldn't have triggered any of the laws.

Still gets me though, all these people who think it cool and a badge of honor that a guy running for President slept with a porn star. It's one thing to bang a hot actress like Kennedy did with Marilyn Monroe and turn her into a peice of meat, it's another to bang a peice of meat.
