I sometimes wonder why news outlets run with these stories. Does NPR really think they can force Hegseth out by running an article claiming a successor is being sought? It is wish casting at its finest.
Someone is running around feeding this crap to these news outlets. Who? And why do editors at Newsweek and NPR believe them?

They're as much if not moreso under their own spell of influence in 2025 as the public used to be. They're still mistakenly believing that just because they hold up their end of the propaganda bandwagon that they can make things happen.
