Aren't there a bunch of kooks out there in the PNW?

That lock just keeps an honest man honest

Where I live, haven't locked the door in years. And I'm not telling you where I live.

That’s utter lie!!
Folks in North Dakota and South Dakota don’t lock shite but according to this poll people in NY, etc lock their shite even less than folks in the Midwest?! Lmfao

Middle Atlantic (NY) 75% locked doors
Midwest (SD, ND) 70% locked doors
I would advise critical thinking next time

I'm not sure how this study would change anyone's habits or what the purpose of it is. Someone probably was charged a lot of money to have it done. That said, I can never understand why someone would not lock their doors, just in case. It takes 2 seconds. I'm sure that anyone who does not lock their doors, and gets robbed for the first time thinks, "this has never happened before. Why would someone do that?". It's because criminals will be criminals and unless you live in a gated community, there is always the opportunity for someone to take advantage of your mistakes. There is always a first time for everything, if is physically possible. Murphy's Law.

I would advise using critical thinking as well or better yet take a trip to SD & ND where I have family at and you will see that nobody locks their shite there!
Thanks for playing dipshit

Do you have information I don’t? The infograph agrees with your anecdotal evidence. What are you upset about here?

Seems like a reasonable way to do this graph is less generalities. Do by urban cities outward. You’ll no doubt see a difference in outcomes in lockdown of doors from 100% to as little as I forget to on a a regular basis categories

We always locked our doors and were armed up when I was a kid.

A couple of points about this survey:
Conducted in 2017 (pre-COVID, pre-summer of protests and riots, pre-1/6/21)
1000 Americans surveyed. I doubt that’s a large enough population to accurately categorize by the map lines they used.
I expect this survey to look mostly the same +5% across the board if you polled the same people today.
However, I would also expect a need to draw finer lines around regions if there were an actual large enough sample size to accurately represent the population this study purports to analyze.

I don't lock my door. I've had my house broken into and locked doors don't mean shite. If someone wants to steal my stuff they're going to get in one way or the other. I'd rather they open the door than kick it in. That's expensive to repair.

They also need to add, "is there a woman in the household," as a data point.

Looks like a CFB recruiting graphic.
