There is a reason for all these bs stories that are coming out.

It’s because we are winning bigly

The "best strategy" they can come up with is "let's just blatantly lie our arse off to hopefully peel away a small amount of support from Trump."

No wonder they are at something like a 20% favorability rating.

If you believe tariffs have been a success up to this point you are beyond saving. Your brain is rotted by politics beyond any recognition to its pre-Trump form.

Will tariffs play out in the long run? I don’t think so. But hey, Trump has proved conventional wisdom wrong before.

But to say that as of this moment they’re a massive success??

Seek help.

Whats amazing to me is how the msm keeps trying to treat each one like stand-alone policies.

Are you stupid, these are connected and related. There is a bigger plan at play here. Even if you think hes wrong, to not admit he is executing a plan on multiple fronts its just retarded.

No one thought the Panama thing made any sense ag first. It should be crystal clear now that it was but one small piece of a much bigger chess board. MSM will not admit this.

Doge said they’d cut $2T per year from the budget, that was like 90 days ago.

Now they’re saying $150B and only have actual receipts for $60 ish and they think they’ll find 90 more.

In other words, 3% of their goal, 7.5% if you’ll still believe anything wo validating. And all of that assumes no external associated costs that come w the cuts.

You can still like doge but calling it a “massive” success is wild.

(1) Stock market crash;
(2) Vacillation and lying about tariff policy causing uncertainty and revealing team Trump simple-mindedness to anyone willing to see it (including most investors);
(3) Uncertainty that chills business and consumer confidence;
(4) Alienation of allies;
(5) Significant drop in travel to the US (also caused by immigration policy);
(6) Price increases directly and indirectly from US tariffs;
(7) Increased bond yields, driving up interest rates for both consumers and the federal government.

Way to address the topic. I’m also curious what massive success we’ve seen from tariffs…

Doge - massive success

How would you quantify it as a massive success? What metrics are you using? I see it way underperforming their claims at this point.

Tariffs massive success.

Again what metrics are you using? Another area I see causing chaos with promise of results but nothing really to show yet.

Deportations - massive success

They can't even get this piece right and they have almost unilateral authority to do so under the executive branch. This is by far the most successful piece of his plan so far and yet it's caught up in court left and right because we must try novel legal theory and avoid oversight....

Ideally both.

In reality, we got neither.

Wait. You said
doge claimed the cut 2 trillion.

Did they not make that claim? Was that just one of you leftists?

Doge claimed they were going to cut wasteful spending and/or fraud (or “both”), to the tune of $2T of the annual budget.

What we got was a ridiculous case of over promising and under delivering (or “neither” in this context).

I’m not sure what you’re confused about.
