Im surprisingly back to within 2% of my feb highs. I know theres more volatility ahead. Im in very aggressive funds so just curious if thats what saved my account or is everyone experiencing similar rebounds?

That depends when people entered the market or if they added on the dip.

I am a good bit back but not quite that good. I have not touched anything.

If you only ever compare it strictly to it's all time peak, you're guaranteed to always be "down"

Year over year is a much more legitimate metric, smooth out a lot of the noise.

403 didnt add except normal auto purchase from paycheck. Wouldnt account for much of a difference percentage wise

I'm at -4% in one area, -8% in another, and -9% in a third.

Not paying attention to mine or my wife’s, and I’m 60. It’s gonna be alright.

Mine is back to less than $1k down from its high, but that’s a normal fluctuation.

Yes but even better is the money I put into the market when the idiots were freaking out. I appreciate their generosity.

Up 3% since Feb. Up 13% year over year which is more important to me.

Lost all the gains I made from July 2024 in 3 months.

The market will recover and we will start getting decent returns, but the last 3 months have caused this to be the worst cycle(7/1 to 6/30) in over 20 years. A 2% to 3% YTD is awful. I think the worst year I’ve had in the last 15 years is 8%. Last year was between 11% and 13%

Way we are. Couldn't answer the OPs question with any degree of accuracy. I figure it's ok. Crap goes up and down and I just set and forget it.

Agree.I don’t look at it but every 6 months or so.I’m 74 so I’ve been with 403-B and IRA’s plus a brokerage accounts. a long time, lots of up’s and downs over the years.Long term I’m way up.
Anyone that expects their stock accounts to go up in a linear fashion with never a dip shouldn’t be invested in stocks.

When I was working I had a co-worker that looked at their 403-B balance every night. When it was up they would come to work next day euphoric,if it was down they would have the sads.

Stupidest thing was crash 2008,lots of my co-workers and acquaintances cashed in their 403 B’s and 401 K’s.Took the loss and paid the penalty.

Wife and I kept on with our 15% and it paid off handsomely for us.

I haven't looked at it in some time. I don't plan to take any of it out for at least another 10-12 years.
