Fayetteville lights up the Mt. Sequoyah cross in gay pride.

They don't leave anything alone. If you've spent any time in Fayetteville, then hopefully a local sent or took you to the Mount Sequoyah overlook. It is one of the highest points in town, and you can see the whole central city and beyond. It's really beautiful, and open to the public.
The top of Mount Sequoyah is an old Methodist retreat center, with cabins, meeting halls, a campus of sorts.
This year, it was lit up in rainbow lights in support of Gay Pride.
Throwing it in your face.

But putting skid marks over a rainbow crosswalk is "defacing" and a "hate crime."

Here's what it looks like when not being defaced by culture warriors.

In other news, these people
are getting a little too comfortable with this "cause"

We watched fireworks display from our place in St Croix on Saturday night. Never witnessed any on 4th of July (or any other day for that matter) since we have been here. Did not even know what the deal was until Sunday papers hit.
All it did was scare our dog. frick. Them. And. Their. Pride.

It is truly unbelievable how far off the rails this country is. I never thought I would live to see it. May God have mercy on our citizens.

I've lived in Fayetteville 29 years, this city has changed dramatically since I've been here. It's become all eaten up with wokeism.
The wife and I are making plans to move.

God, Fayetteville is a liberal cesspool. I do work there sometimes and am astonished at the culture rot.

Any local Christian Churches stepping up and dating how this is not acceptable? And doing it in a reasonable way...not crazy "on the corner" way.
I bet even the repub gvnr candidates will fear away from this garbage.
So sad how so many "Christians" have given in to this evil. This nation is freaked.

Not only has Fayetteville turned into Wokeville, but it is full of people overcome with superiority complexes over the rest of the state. Wokeville and Walmartville can fook themselves.

I grew up in South Arkansas, lived in central Arkansas, and settled in NW Arkansas. NWA is, without doubt, the nicest part of the state, but that sure doesn't give anyone an excuse to be elitist about it.

Welp. That is one sure way to get Gods attention
I use to fear end times, now I am somewhat looking forward to it

So they are projecting God's symbol (the rainbow) that he would never flood the earth again onto a cross? Seems appropriate minus the word PRIDE splattered across the front. Why distort that symbol? The rainbow is literally a promise from God.

I stopped shopping at wokemart. I decided to take my services to another local Arkansas place called Harps Foods.

Fayetteville has always been liberal in the typical college-town kind of way. It's always had gays and at least a gay bar, in my memory.
But yeah, the past decade, it's gone off-the-rails Leftwing, and people don't speak up because most of the conservative folks have moved to Farmington, PG or Elkins. Conservatives are an ever-shrinking minority here.

Ironic that they’d put PRIDE on there.
Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. -Proverbs 16:18

Makes me ashamed to be a Methodist
"Go and sin no more" is lost on the woke clergy of the UMC.
Of course, when you're afraid to call sin a sin....
