How Jimmy Carter and Zbigniew Brzezinski Started the Mujahideen

The former director of the CIA, Robert Gates, stated in his memoirs [“From the Shadows”], that American intelligence services began to aid the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan 6 months before the Soviet intervention. Most are blind to how moving pieces on the board cause others to react... What Carter did would have been similar to the USSR playing the same game in Mexico...
