I have found that the main difference between modern liberals and modern republicans is that the liberals argue on the basis of morals while republicans argue on the basis of facts.
In other words, liberals argue on the basis of what should be (or rather what they believe should be), and republicans argue on the basis of what is, no matter how ugly it may sound.

So, it seems a lot of folks are anticipating a true civil war, blood in the streets, mayhem, etc..
Meanwhile, we sit by allowing our youth to be indoctrinated by the State from Kindergarten through college. The left leaning colleges and school districts do it openly and with vigor. They teach white privilege concepts, anti-capitalism, multi-culturalism, anti-free speech, etc..The right leaning colleges and school districts do it by remaining silent in fear of PC repercussions. While they don't openly and vigorously teach Marxists idealogy, they are forced to neglect the promotion of American Exceptionalism.
So...it falls on the private sector to step up and combat this in the Arena of Ideas. What are any of us doing except arguing on a message board? What if you volunteer your time to have community discussion groups once a month with school aged and college aged kids in your community. Promote and discuss the important things that get omitted in the class room. Combat the State by teaching the things that the State won't teach.
