You following this thread? El Salvador imprisoned innocent Salvadorans, and the people in this thread are championing their tactics.

People I think like you are a huge problem, Jeff.

Those of us who think that America is the greatest country because of our Constitution and its Bill of Rights want to see the legal process followed even when inconvenient, unpopular, and frustrating.
Mouthing “we must protect the Constitution” while supporting lawlessness and chaos is just kabuki theater. I don’t have to pretend that such an argument is legitimate.

“We turned the murder capital (El Salvador) of the world into the safest country in the Western Hemisphere. They say we imprisoned thousands, I like to say we actually liberated millions.”
If this is true then all the Illegals using "seeking asylum" can return to their homeland and live a happy safe life.

t would be a real time saver if people would just say: "Yes, technically Abrego Garcia was illegally deported to El Salvador, and I'm OK with that." As a practical matter, I am OK with never discussing that particular illegal alien again, because the Administration was able to sidestep the legal process, and he is never coming back to America...which is good.
You know what else would be a real time save? If the left would just say “I want and actually like the idea that 3rd world gangbangers can come to our country and rape and murder my fellow citizens. It actually gets me off. Even better is watching our own children die of drug overdoses.”

But hey, let’s model ourselves off of actions that trample our Constitution.
Why is it that the left only brings up the Constitution when it fits their needs? Then there is the Supreme Court. They want to pack the court because they don't have a majority. If Trump tried to do it now. the left would lose their minds! And you know they would.

There’s 5 harpies next to me in the Panera this morning who are talking about a person they’re scared might get sent to an El Salvadoran prison because he has a Hispanic last name.
We deserve everything coming to us. We are a nation of idiots.

People are championing a safe society. The Marxist left is championing the rights of criminals over and above a safe society. You can either play dumb or you can admit what we all see.

It explicitly is. You even quoted the important part of my quote and then promptly ignored it like an autistic retard.

And you site a PBS article as your support. That’s hilarious!

You keep saying this. But the truth is that these “innocents” were members of gangs. In El Salvador being a member of a gang will get you 3-6 years. Just because they never were proven to have committed a crime doesn’t make them innocent. El Salvador threw 2% of their population into prison. They probably would have thrown more into prison but they can only house just so many people in a prison system. They did this because of the extreme nature of the problem they were dealing with.

It's a bad point and anti-American.
The road to authoritarianism has followed that same rhetoric countless times. Hell even the origin of the term dictator covers that societal paradigm. The Founders were fully educated on this (and had lived under monarchy and explicitly rejected it).
Our system was purposefully built understanding this rhetoric (as it is nothing new) to make this power grab extraordinarily difficult. That's the foundational principles of our Constitution. You can read the Federalist Papers if you need an education on these specific concerns from a contemporary point in time.
The very ethos of what it means to be American rejects your premise.
Your desired system likely can be found in Asia with its Confucian ethos promoting less freedom-influenced and more obedience-reliant systems.

It’s not anti-American to point out people who are pretending to support the Constitution but are, in fact, not really supporting the Constitution.
You’re arguing a point I haven’t made in this thread.

Problem is there are some innocent people in our prisons here in the United States. Let’s abolish prisons and jails. Nice observation dumb arse.

I explained (in detail) how you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the Constitution, and even gave you literature to educate yourself on the issue.
You are incorrectly asserting what "supporting the Constitution" means.
Supporting the Constitution means rejecting many of the policies of Bukele.

Oh no, some “innocent” retards got locked up for having gang tattoos
The best way to not end up in prison, is to not act like a thug, hangout with thugs, or dress like thugs
It’s pretty simple.

You’re making a false choice fallacy. I didn’t express support for Bukele’s policies. (Mostly because I do not support them carte Blanche.) Nor did I denigrate the Constitution.
You wanna try again? You can use even more words.
