Guy explains why ‘Nossum Dorma’ was played after Trump’s speech at the end of the RNC

SIAP
I came across this over on the Twitter machine. I thought playing an opera song was odd considering the music all week had been cover songs from the 70s-80s.
This guy gives an explanation on why it was played. It turns out Trump likely selected it on purpose to troll the Democrats and Deep State that are very likely involved in the assassination attempt.

Truly a moving piece of music...
Turandot by Giacomo Puccini is an extremely profound opera with many levels of symbolism and meaning - look into it...
Nessun Dorma means "Let no one sleep".

Nessun Dorma means "Let no one sleep".
quote:
Nobody shall sleep!...
Nobody shall sleep!
Even you, oh Princess,
in your cold room,
watch the stars,
that tremble with love and with hope.
But my secret is hidden within me,
my name no one shall know...
No!...No!...
On your mouth, I will tell it when the light shines.
And my kiss will dissolve the silence that makes you mine!...
(No one will know his name and we must, alas, die.)
Vanish, o night!
Set, stars! Set, stars!
At dawn, I will win! I will win! I will win!

Nessun Dorma is a banger. Also has so many amazing versions. From Aretha to Pavarotti to Jennifer Hudson. And yes the end of The Sum of All Fears is a great montage set to it.

Nessun Dorma is one of my favorites. Pavarotti's version is timeless.

Great song.
I have only been to two operas and one was Puccini’s Turandot at the Met in New York. This was the famous song.

Wasn't this in The God Father I, in the end?

I credit Aretha Franklin for turning me on to opera. I heard her sing Nessun Dorma at the Grammys in the 90s when Pavarotti caught a cold & Aretha stood in at the last second. I was blown away. The soul she added made it sound nothing like the "yucky" opera I always resisted.
I wanted to hear more of her singing opera, so I went to Virgin Records to find a CD. None existed. So I reluctantly bought a $5 cd of Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma and gave him a chance. It took a few spins to develop a taste for the high C's, but I was in. The 3 Tenors really cemented me as an opera fan. Since then, I've familiarized myself with not just the famous arias, but also the operas the arias are from. I even got lucky enough to see Pavarotti perform live in MS.
Ironically, I went back and re-watched Aretha singing Nessun Dorma at the Grammys on YT and I was so disappointed. She couldn't hold the note. She added runs & breath breaks. Still, I'm forever grateful she opened my eyes to a gorgeous genre of music.

Not sure, but this guy tells that it was played at the end of ‘The Sum of All Fears’. I don’t remember the plot of that movie because I only watched it one time and haven’t seen it in years.
Here’s a more in depth video talking about it.

Failed assassination attempt using a patsy.
President figures it out and unalives the guilty parties.
It wasn’t accidental.

There are multiple ways that the use of this song could be interpreted as a troll job.
“Turandot” was banned for many years in China because the Chinese government viewed it as being overly critical of them.
The story told in “Turandot” can be construed in many ways as relating to what Trump has been through since 2015. Each distinct act in “Turandot” could be looked at as a corresponding act in Trump’s political career.
Some might latch on to its use in “Sum of All Fears” and the Trump campaign can deflect to something else without having to confirm nor deny that’s where the significance of its use is.

The perfect troll is to deny the sum of all fears connection and claim that Trump just loves the song and finds it inspirational.
Explain nothing. We don’t have to. frick them.

This conspiracy has been posted a lot.
That the song was chosen because of the movie and the similarities in the attempted assassination... Has everyone forgotten that the 2020 RNC (at the white house) ended the exact same way? With the exact same opera singer singing Nessun Dorma?

Nope. Pavarotti and Bocelli are the standard bearers and the rest, especially non-opera singers are an abomination.

Why Did Donald Trump Play Nessun Dorma?
Former president and 2024 Republican candidate Donald Trump ended his speech at the Republication National Convention (RNC) with the song "Nessun Dorma," sparking questions about the meaning behind his musical choice.
As "Nessun Dorma" famously played during the climax of The Sum of All Fear, a film about eliminating terrorists and deep state actors looking to destabilize the world, many have suggested Trump may have been looking to send a message.
During Fox News' reporting on RNC, a reporter pointed out how "Nessun Dorma" was found in The Sum of All Fear, a movie about "getting rid of terrorists and deep state actors." The network pointed out the "interesting theory" that he may have been looking to "send a message to deep state actors."
After Trump has vowed to "demolish the deep state" (via CNN), the 2024 president-elect hopeful may have been looking to invoke connections to The Sum of All Fear and his promises to ensure global and national peace.

I did not hear it.
In any case, internet user cajunangelle, solid bump.

I mean, he’s not wrong. Trump was not meant to walk off the stage in Butler, Pennsylvania.
