Happy Otoya Yamaguchi Day!

Otoya Yamaguchi is a man you have probably never heard of but also a man of great importance who should be remembered for doing an evil (but necessary) thing on this day in 1960. It was on live Japanese television that Yamaguchi assassinated the leader of Japan's socialist party with a samurai sword. As a result, he cut the head off the snake and communism never took root on the Japanese home islands.
