Inside China:
Inventories are stacking up.
Domestic manufacturers are moving and plan on moving to other ASEAN countries.
Manufacturing centers are emptying out.
Some manufactures are competing domestically and are failing.
Prices are even more ridiculously low.
Container boxes are stacking up in ports.
Ships are stacking up in ports.

I would take them with a grain of salt. They’re known to be controlled opposition, it’s like saying Fox News is the ultimate authority in MAGA news.
That being said, the loss of manufacturing has gotta be hurting already. The months ahead will be interesting

ASEAN countries are boxed in with their agreements/soon to be agreements with the US. That will leave China holding the baby.

Chinese will sell to next best customer or consume these goods themselves.

China will have to sell a lot more to their own people, which means they have to raise wages so more people can afford their own products. Sort of like the story of how of Henry Ford did so his employees could buy his cars. A larger part of the profits from China's production has to reach the consumers' level.
The rest of the world will not be as gullible as the US has been with foreign trade. Europeans are already voicing concern about opening the floodgates of "free trade" with China.

Surely china can replace the US consumers by just selling cheap shite to themselves

I was assured last week by several experts on this board that Trump had caved on tariffs, so why is anybody still writing about it?

They'll need more than one customer

The US has a bigger consumer economy than China & the EU COMBINED

A consumer economy fueled by debt and a a currency that's being dropped like a hot potato. China has more consumers that us and is stacking gold like no tomorrow.

1. China’s economy is shrinking
2. They don’t have expendable money
3. They already have their own housing crisis ongoing
4. USofA is their biggest trade partner and consumer. You don’t just find another USA laying around

It’s not rocket science. This guy here really gets it. Hope the rest of you come around at some point.

“Months”? TD poster cornerstone thinks it’s absolutely nuts to think China will last past the 24th of this month. He would call you a commie sympathizer, Stunrunner, for thinking it could last months.
