I already knew it was, but this go round has opened my eyes quite a bit. There was one leader in our church that went apeshit on instagram/facebook about it.
when there was the temporary (less than 24 hour) pause on medicaid became news for about 10 minutes, this individual (that makes in excess of $100k) lost their mind because they were saying they wouldn't be able to afford medicine for their young adopted special needs daughter.
...but they are also raising two grandchildren from two daughters born out of wedlock. They were screaming about this on social media while their three adult daughters were all in vacation in Paris. One, who two weeks earlier posted about losing their job.
I haven't received a penny of government assistance since FAFSA (i paid for college on my own) and make north of 150k and a trip to Paris would be a few years save up event. This is their second or third time there.
every time i hear about this or some such poor government worker that has to start coming in or losing their job, I am just wondering about how much grift I'm missing out on.

“False Statements & Writings” on a government document is a felony in Georgia, and I’m sure Texas has a similar statute. Lock up any adult filling out those papers.

I should have said former leader. Their social justice warrioring had them removed from their leadership role last year. Which is why I like my church.
