I can say this, sales of US raised catfish are steadily going up. Most positive news I’ve heard from the processors in a couple years

That's a glimmer of good news amid the devastation of Boeing and the American farmers of rice and soybeans. I don't know why anyone would eat "Swai," or whatever that trash fish is called.

Can this board actually have an honest debate or is it just a f****** joke? Every other f****** comment is somebody bashing somebody, calling them an incel,Nazi,Marxist, communist, tranny, cuck, low IQ...

Why can't people honestly debate about what's going on and talk about facts, talk about statistics, talk about real things with real honesty and integrity.

I know this is kind of a joke forum, but it's really almost turned into like 4chan where people just try and one up each other and don't actually care about politics. They used to not be like this.

I want to see some solid arguments here, some solid debates, the first one who hurls an insole specifically name calling, will be declared the loser or will be declared as not having a viable argument.

I know this is not right of me, but there's a lot of small businesses out there that supported Trump, and they must have just gleefully ignored information about tariffs or about his policies, most of the time they were cheering it on.

And a lot of them are failing now and they're complaining online about how it's hurting their business but it couldn't have happened to a better group of people, and they deserve every minute of their suffering, that's the only way they're going to get it through their f****** head.

They wanted other people to suffer as long as it was non-white people, and liberals, but as soon as it starts affecting them they start crying about how they didn't realize, and they didn't know, that's no f****** excuse.

For instance certain metals are not produced in the United States and I know that in the future according to these plans that we're going to produce a bunch of these metals and ores but as of right now we don't and probably not for at least a year if not more. These people get these metals and ores from places like Vietnam and China because they literally cannot get them in the United States it is impossible. And now their businesses are failing because they're having to pay 90% tariffs and 200% tariffs and I'm just sitting here like how the f*** did they not see this coming are they f****** stupid, don't answer that maybe they're not stupid but they were gleefully and blissfully unaware of what they were voting for even though it was said many many times.

Link is to Forbes…hardly a pro trump source.
List of countries

Did you not know about this? You are in this thread calling people ignorant, yet ignore your own ignorance. Beautiful.

Is this actually the plan? To bankrupt America

Not interested in an online chat war but we are trillions of dollars in dept every year. The plan to bankrupt America started a long time ago. I'm for at least going down fighting.

Stocks are down another 3% today. Bonds are not “up big.”

US manufacturing for aircraft is getting hammered. Farm produce sectors are getting hammered. Prices are going up. Trump changes the national policy more than once a day.

And none of this would be happening if Trump had not been elected.

Spin it as only a cult mind can, but this is a huge Trump-inflicted wound that will be with us for years.

Its retaliatory. I dont understand why people can;'t grasp this concept? The administration isnt flying by the seat of their pants.

If China's reaction is to re-raise tariffs, or decides they arent sending some exports to any country...including the US, then the US RETALIATES to that action.

Concepts are easier to grasp when the government isn't using 1984 doublespeak. Trump did not "retaliate" for a "tariff" imposed by China or any other country. The administration did not cite actual "tariffs" imposed by other countries. Rather, they cited trade imbalances and falsely labeled them "tariffs."

Trump fired the first shot, but falsely labeled his action as "retaliatory," when it was not.

If Trump was actually using words in accordance with their meaning, perhaps people could grasp the concept. But Trump is making up new meanings for words and phrases.
