This is something that is normal and has been happening for decades and Elon knows this, but people are trying to make it out to be some conspiracy. This is something we all should know and probably learned in high school but have forgotten.

If non-citizens have green cards they can get SSN numbers for work. They pay taxes and into social security. These type of SSN’s are time limited. In the 90’s a college friend from Brazil had a time limited SSN and worked at Walmart, but he was deported after his second DUI.

Afghans and Iraqis are examples of non-citizens that can get SSI benefits. Most of these are soldiers and their families that helped US military during the 20 year war and are working towards citizenship. They are not eligible to vote until they become US citizens. This is the same thing that happened with South Vietnamese after the Vietnam War.

There are around 400,000 Afghans and Iraqis in the US and around 350,000 are still working towards citizenship.

Other example are doctors, professors, engineers, etc… People like Elon and Melania would have been non-citizens with SSN’s.

How do you explain the 10x increase from 2021 to 2024? If the 2.1 million non-citizen SSNs a year is the norm, why was it so much lower in 2021 and 2022?

Yes, we know it happens. What's being pointed out is the sheer number of illegals that were given SSNs. The chart can't be explained away as normal unless non-citizen SSNs somehow increase and decrease by a factor of 10 on a revolving basis.

The point being made is the increase in the amount of SSNs given to foreigners, not that foreigners are given SSNs at all.

The ones that scream the loudest are the most guilty!

The US NEVER handed out applications to apply for SSNs at the border to people who had not been properly vetted, prior to the past administration.

They should have been given an ITIN number, why a social security number? We all know why.
