Lia Thomas dominated by fellow Ivy League transgender swimmer Iszac Henig

While I’m certainly glad Lia's cheating arse was defeated in the grand scheme of things I think this may set things back a bit. Progressives no doubt will point and say "look see, he/she/it's not undefeatable. They were beat by a female transitioning to male and hasn’t started taking hormones yet."
But we have reached the point that there are enough of these things out there that two compete against each other on Ivy League swim teams. I’m terrified what the world will be like in another 5 years when my daughter reaches college.

The University of Pennsylvania’s transgender swimmer, Lia Thomas, was defeated by another transgender swimmer.
The record-shattering Thomas previously competed on the Penn men’s team and has transitioned to female.
But at an Ivy League swim meet Saturday, a Yalie, Iszac Henig, defeated Thomas in both the women’s 100- and 400-yard freestyle races, the Daily Mail reported.
Henig, who is transitioning from female to male, set a record for the women’s 50-yard freestyle, the outlet said.
Henig was able to compete on the women’s team because she had yet to start testosterone treatment, according to a June piece in The New York Times.

So all it too to defeat a man who takes estrogen is a woman who takes testosterone.

Who do both women-to-men AND men-to-women get to be in women’s sports?

Just elimate gender teams. The best athletes make the team and compete.

Someone should train a seal or sea lion and say it identifies as a human. Now give it a scholarship and have it compete.

That would put men at a significant advantage though. I’m not fond of the idea of having athletics and schools being tied together like they are anyways so would have no issues at all if we did away with the all athletics at schools (both grammar schools all the way through college) and just have them all be private leagues and let schools focus on what they should be focused on - academics.
But so long as that’s not the case and taxpayer dollars are being used to finance these programs it only makes sense to separate them based on gender. Especially as they get older the physiological differences in the two sexes is stark and could potentially be dangerous even.

I just looked up the times.
Last month in Ohio Thomas swam the 200 yard race in 1:44:61
Yesterday in the meet against Yale he finished in 1:48.73
4 seconds slower in a 200 yard race.
Something seems off.

I gotta give the female to male credit, she could pass for a guy from the 1980s that listens to Flock of Seagulls

Observers said they thought he was playing a bit. Loafing.
