I prefer Orange Beach. It’s cheaper and there is more for the kids to do and they can’t tell the difference. The beaches are better at Pensacola, but it’s only a short drive if you want to go to a prettier beach for the day.

It's the home of the Blue Angels, Naval Air Station Pensacola.
Huge military presence.

Sounds like a great year to visit the panhandle, maybe dive the Oriskany or just enjoy the worlds whitest beaches. Pensacola Naval Air Base is also a great visit for a day, the museum and Fort Barrancas are excellent. Less libs walking around will make it even better. From the beach you can look out and admire the Gulf of America!

We’ve been going to Pensacola Beach for the last few years. Nary a purple hair to be seen. Doesn’t have the riff raff like Destin either. If there’s a fund I could contribute too that will keep PB freak-free, I’d be happy to.
