It's actually ongoing in Africa. I find it quite ironic that the Methodist church may be saved by the missionary outreach from 50 years ago as the African people have been stalwart in their faith.

It's a whole nonsense congregation.
I just found their facebook live stream of their Easter service yesterday and one of the first things they do is recite a pledge that Allendale UMC is committed to social change, it is a safe space that withholds judgment regardless of sexual preference, gender identity and other woke categorical identities.
Just going through their socials and their messaging, their identity, their underlying driving principles are not God's word. It's social justice nonsense that they worship first.
