They have to use a service that verified identity and age. "Upload an ID."
It won't stop everyone but most people aren't going to upload an ID to watch porn.

This just made it more inconvenient for Boomers to access, the younger people know they can just download a VPN and access it same as before.
They only added a small hurdle for the technologically uneducated.

I found this out when I was filing my taxes and there is a service called IDme. It is an online verification of your identity. I actually used to verify myself with the IRS and actually had to use it for mobile check in to get into my hotel room without having to check in at the front desk at the hotel I am staying at.
But I still wouldn’t use that process to authenticate my age to watch porn.
