Robert Mueller didn't hire Peter Strzok, liar, but sure got rid of him to avoid any appearance or actuality of prosecutorial prejudice
Actually, Mueller didn’t “get rid of him” until the IG found the text messages. Had the IG not found them, Strzok would STILL be working for Mueller. That’s a fact. Mueller only got rid of him because he knew the IG would eventually release the reports showing Strzok and others were Clinton hacks.

Your "Conservative Tree House" makes zero sense, and it takes a partisan dumbass to think it does.

Welcome back old man

Thank God for the IG.
On that subject Yates knew how dangerous the OIG was to their criminal efforts. She shielded the OIG from the National Security Division of the DOJ to avoid sunlight from the OIG. From the link in the OP:
quote:
Remember, in 2015 Sally Yates blocked any inspector general oversight of the DOJ National Security Division (SEE Pdf HERE). The OIG, Michael Horowitz, requested oversight and it was Sally Yates who responded with a lengthy 58-page legal explanation saying, essentially, ‘nope – not allowed.’ (PDF HERE) All of the DOJ is subject to oversight, except the NSD.

"That night, NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers was seated at the head of the table as each member of the military likely aware -in varying degrees- just how consequential NSA Director Mike Rogers was in fending off the biggest constitutional crisis in the history of the U.S.
A grateful U.S. President, recognizing a great and patriotic man, amid many great and patriotic men. ….And no-one outside that room even knew. Until now."
This photo was taken the same day Trump made his "calm before the storm" comment. Notice Admiral Rogers is seated at the head of the table.

Sundance provides a strong case that Admiral Rogers (NSA Chief) was primarily responsible for exposing all the shenanigans going inside the Obama IC relating to Trump surveillance. Keep in mind that Rogers was appointed by Obama (he is not a Trumpkin).
He lays out in detail (with supporting documentation and senate hearing footage) that Rogers is the one who alerted the FISA court to nefarious activities under FISA 702 (17) authority. Rogers decreed that NSA were to put a stop to collecting anything under 702 (17) until he could figure out what was going on. (NSA isn't the only ones who can use NSA systems to collect this data -- FBI and DOJ were the ones abusing it).
Under 702 (17) authority, an individual can utilize a computer system to essentially "Google" the NSA database of phone calls, texts, e-mails. They put in a search "term" like a name and the computer system automatically retrieves anything based on those keywords. It is called an "about query" on the inside. So, they could put in "Trump" and instantly have access to any phone call, text, or e-mail transcripts that were collected. Not only calls made by Trump himself, but OTHER PEOPLE talking ABOUT Trump. The stuff Devin Nunes saw inside the White House SCIF at the Eisenhower building was mostly relating to people talking about Trump. This included people on Trump's transition team.
Rogers discovered that these "about" queries were being misused for purposes not important to national security. In October, 2016 he went to the FISA court to alert them to the illegal activity and the FISA court agreed with Rogers that it was illegal and that they were going to block access to 702(17) until Rogers could find a technical solution to stop the abuses. This is also the same month Rogers visited Trump in Trump Tower without Clapper or Obama's permission. The very next day Trump moved all of his operations OUT of Trump Tower (they tapped his wires). October is also the same month that Clapper recommended to Obama that Rogers be fired.
Most of this stuff is stuff those of us paying attention have known since early 2017, but Sundance does a nice job laying it all out in a timeline with plenty of supporting documentation.

You took the time to TL/DR it, at least for a very important part of it. Nice job.

Yep, and not only did the other IC heads (Clapper, Brennan, lynch, carter, etc) want Rogers fired, but Obama himself urged Trump to avoid placing Rogers in his administration.
He did the same regarding Mike Flynn. I wonder why?? Probably because Barry and his minions knew that Rogers AND Flynn were honest men with integrity and that they would likely expose all the nefarious shite Obozo’s crew had been doing.

Except where he lied to congress.
Steele has not been interviewed on this by any congressional committee as best I can tell.

Correct he may have lied to the FBI.

FBI Agent Peter Strzok said it in his text messages, establishing the Russian Conspiracy narrative was an “insurance policy”:
What is interesting is that the DOJ received 10,000 of the Strzok-Page texts, but only chose to release 375 of the texts.
And they didn't release the text immediately before the "insurance" text or the one right after it.
Maybe DOJ didn't release them because the missing texts would back up Strzok contention that the insurance tweet didn't refer to the Russian investigation is being insurance against the possibility of Trump's election.

Well what insurance would he be referring to?

Okay it wasn't congress he lied to it was the FBI. My bad. The congressional committee recommended a criminal investigation because he did not tell the truth to the FBI.
quote:LINK
Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., a senior committee member, told the Justice Department they believe Christopher Steele, the former British spy who helped put together the dossier, knowingly lied to federal authorities about his communications with U.S. journalists.
The recommendation is the first known criminal recommendation from Congress’s multiple Russia probes.
Grassley and Graham delivered a letter, as well as a classified memo, to Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray containing the basis for the criminal investigation.
“Based on the information contained therein, we are respectfully referring Mr. Steele to you for investigation of potential violations of 18 U.S.C. § 1001, for statements the Committee has reason to believe Mr. Steele made regarding his distribution of information contained,” they said in a press statement.
That federal criminal code refers to knowingly and willfully making false or misleading statements to federal authorities.
Grassley indicated that Steele didn't tell the truth when asked by the FBI whether he leaked parts of the dossier to reporters.

And, by the way, where is the outrage from these trumplodytes that the Department of Justice is releasing the contents of PRIVATE EMAILS for Trump's political purposes?
