Trump needed to not interrupt her and talk about the border, wars going on, and economy. He checked lol the boxes. His word salad was inevitable.

He did enough to keep this race within the lines.

The big takeaway for me was this idea that she’s suddenly someone else. Like she’s somehow not responsible for the condition of our nation. That she’s somehow no longer supporting issues she’s always supported. And we should trust this “new Kamala”.

Not refuting this, but I get why Trump was fact-checked so much, given that he is a notorious liar. It’s just convenient when your guy does poorly to blame everything except the fact that he just did a bad job. Even though I think it was moderated fairly, Trump wasn’t as bad as they are saying and Harris wasn’t as great as others are saying. I dislike both political parties, don’t believe Trump was or would be a good president, and there’s a lot about Kamala I don’t care for, particularly some of her far left rhetoric. I really don’t know what to do and there is no new information I don’t already know about either of them.

She undoubtedly had the questions in advance, may have been using an earpiece (though I'm not convinced this is true), and gave canned and prepared answers. Trump was Trump; rambling, riffing, and off the cuff.

Neither of those places have anything to do with who I vote for President. When I looked deeper into the immigration stuff, it’s not nearly as big of an issue as Republicans make it out to be (the fake cat eating story being an example), but the borders shouldn’t just be wide open like Democrats want.

The issue that could push me towards Kamala is abortion. I am very pro-choice and think overturning Roe v Wade was a huge backwards step for this country, and the shady way states are trying to ban it altogether is absolutely disgusting and dangerous to women. I don’t believe a fetus is a baby and I don’t care if someone calls it killing a baby because if it is still inside the mother, she should be able to terminate or “kill” the thing all she wants. It doesn’t make her a bad person or a murderer. It’s part of her body so it’s her choice.
