I have a DUI. I think I’m still a pretty good hire.
You know I love ya!!

Good move. Long overdue.

Don’t know enough about the military to comment. Sounds like the “No More Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease” policy.

Much needed. People have absolutely abused the Civil Rights Act to the point that you can't even fire someone unless you have like 10 documented corrective actions for the same issue. Managers are afraid of employees, which places the employees in charge of whatever organization we are talking about. The customer of the organization is the one who suffers. We need to stop this insanity

The Atlantic probably knew about this policy change days ago

My husband does, too. And my brother. It's a right of passage here.
I'd hire you. Idk to do what, but you'd get the job.

As long as he doesn't get 13 soldiers killed or abandon an embassy, he can have dui.

It was a joke - ya know, a play on the obsession with DEI hires.
I thought it was clever.
I guess I should walk on eggshells?

It’s refreshing to have someone in charge of the military that isn’t choir boy who’s lived a completely bland and sterile existence isn’t it?

Weaponized anonymous reporting needs to be done away with.
The accused has a right to face their accuser. Also, get rid of third party reporting. If someone overhears a conversation they are not part of and gets offended tough shite. Mind yo business.

is there something specific you don’t like about the policy or are you just in general bemoaning the person introducing it?

So, you’re fine with the policy change but still felt the need to take a completely irrelevant jab? Common TDS symptom.

This is a huge problem in our military.
Let's commanders be commanders again. Love it!.
If you can't prove your allegations they should not be taken seriously.
