So 18 of the eligible Cardinals don’t get to vote? How do they select who doesn’t vote? And are the 18 non-voters the same throughout the conclave or do they change each round of voting?

Did we ever verify whether or not this guy even believed in God? It's no coincidence that he was named pope during Obama, after the first resignation in 600 years.
Typical leftist faux Christian, bending and twisting 'love thy neighbor' into 'let others walk all over you.' Muslims. figs and trannies. Communist doctrine. This a-hole had it all.
Catholics need to do WAY better this time around.

Be funny if George Soros was next. I don't think there was much difference between them.

Mainly tradition.

Maybe, we need a good conservative pope from Westwego to lead the church.

Oh no! Anyway....
Hopefully the next one won't keep covering for pedophiles, promote child grooming, and push every globalist initiative.
If there is a hell, surely this fricker is getting a look. At least he should be, based on everything I know about Catholocism.

Latin should be integrated into mass for its historical relevance. The church needs to get back closer to its real traditions.

I don't know that anyone has seen Soros live and in living color in years. His cretin son has been the face of the Open Society Foundation's operations since COVID, iirc.
You know, when he's not scamming on Anthony Wiener's sloppy seconds.

Because some of us like traditions. I’d prefer the church not be the gemstones or like the protestants. The Catholic Church should have its history as a bedrock.

I can't recall a Catholic on here that supported his views. Yeah, he was old, and we should not relish is one's death but he has reshaped The RCC forever with his liberal appointees over the years. Not sure how y'all right the ship but good luck!
You must be young. I'm not Catholic but have followed a few. Just look for smoke. The Bishops light up some bowls when they have picked a new Marxist leader.

I just don’t see the importance of speaking a language that no one on Earth understands. It was replaced like 60 years ago.

I don't think this is correct, 120 is the minimum amount of cardinals that should be eligible to vote. If it falls under 120, the pope should have elected more Cardinals.
At least, that's my understanding.

Probably not a popular thing to say on this board, but I'm very glad to be Protestant.
I guess Franklin Graham is the closest thing we have for a Pope.

It’s the history for me, mass was done that way for a long time. We can easily translate things know if people want to know what the song is saying in plain language. The more we go away from tradition the more we become like protestants.

But wait, wasn’t Peter a Hebrew, and wasn’t he the first pope? Wouldn’t the first pope have spoken Aramaic?

hopefully he converted to Christianity before he died
