No Christian can claim that war is always unnecessary. The book of Ecclesiastes spells it out clearly.

No one better understands, than GOD, the cyclical nature of mankind and the imperfections of the human condition. He sent His son to live as a man so that, through Christ, he could experience for himself the tumultuous dualities of the flesh. As the perfect being, the Great Creator, He could otherwise have never known. It was the ultimate gift to mankind, the new covenant with a full, divine understanding of our endless battle against sin. GOD Himself saw, through Christ's eyes, the horrors of war, death, murder, and all sin. HE felt the weight of temptation and the pain of the thorns, nails and spears on the cross. HE heard the words of His people,His own creation, mocking Him and cheering His death. HE felt the betrayal of Judas. HE descended to Hell with Christ to claim the victory over Satan for all who accept The Lord.

And unfortunately, the horrors of war are simply just a part of that great circle that keeps turning since the advent of man. And this ALL ends with a Great War, waged by GOD Himself.

Does he have ARMED guards protecting him? Walls? He’d be beheaded already if he didn’t. Sanctimonious and ungrateful hypocrite.

I ca understand why HE as Pope cannot promote war, but he is a sanctimonious hypocrite if he judges others who shed their blood and that of heathen Christian enemies to defend the freedom and even existence of the Christian Faith.

Pacifism and self sacrifice is virtuous in those whose conscience truly bids them to do so accordingly. I’ll pick up their tab. But one Projecting their conscience into that of their fellow beings and judging them is not.

The Gospel of Jesus as “Only Begotten “ would not exist but for wars which were won. Nobody wants war, but God bless those “who lay their life down for a friend “. The ‘friend’ being our National family.

That guy is role playing. He’s no spiritual visionary. Much less infallible. JMO. Never met him and I could be wrong.

God fearing Catholics should consider distancing themselves from the behemoth known as the Roman Catholic Church. The moral clarity of the Roman Catholic Church is in serious question.
